( Ultrix 4.2 ) Example: I'm on machine mrkva. I do telnet hrasok on hrasok I'll find out, which process I'm up to: in this case - root 2987 0.0 2.1 384 172 p4 S 0:00 login -h mrkva.bla.org now on machine hrasok I'll do line < /dev/ttyp4 on mrkva ( where I'm openin telnet session to hrasok ) I enter login and password. On hrasok I'll get password ( as a output from line < /dev/ttyp4 ) I think the problem is that telnetd does not check pseudo ttys whether they are already opened or not. Is there any simple patch to disable this ,,feature'' ? thanks ivan
